Kilcoy Gift – Latest Message To Athletes

Hey Running Friends……just an update on the Kilcoy Gift on Saturday 4th June. The Kilcoy race track was severely affected by the recent floods. The track needs a good two weeks of dry weather before horse racing and therefore the foot races to proceed. Currently BOM forecasts are not predicting this. The QAL will be informed early next week if the Raceday will be postponed to later in the year.

Regards Steve

Kilcoy Gift – 4th June 2022

The gift will start at 9.30am due to the horse racing being a TAB televised event. The only events that will conducted in between the horse racing will be the 5 finals. The horse racing is planned to start around midday due to the reduced day light hours in winter.

Entry forms and details here.

At that time, Racing Queensland will be able to assist clubs upon request if any questions arise.

Queensland Athletic League Inc

Welcome to the official site of the Queensland Athletic League (QAL)!  The QAL organises professional running events across Queensland.  Races are run under a handicap system, usually over distances ranging from 70 metres to 1600 metres.

While the big gifts offer thousands of dollars in prizemoney, there are many races where the prizemoney is a few hundred dollars.
